The art and visual installations were great. Highly recommend to those interested in today’s art expression. Immersive experiences
The Moco Museum in Amsterdam offers a vibrant collection of modern and street art, featuring artists like Banksy and Warhol. Its intimate setting makes it a must-visit for art lovers seeking a fresh, unique experience.
The experience was enjoyable, and I found it to be a worthwhile endeavor. However, I believe there is potential for further enhancements and additions to improve the overall experience
The staff was very warm to us. Williams's art pieces were very moving and refreshing. The Six N. Five made me cry and was even more moving. The rooms were very nice. Goodly selected art pieces. The Digital Immersive Art was the crazyest, so mesmerizing and fun! Really lost myself into it. The garden was amazing, loved the cool music and opportunity to sit at cool chairs. Lovely birds!
The variety of artists was really appealing to us, and we particularly like the nfts and the mirror/light rooms. But because of how packed and busy it was, the visit was a little stressful.
Excellent museum, one of the most beautiful I have seen, with the help of Crystelle my experience became even better! You will love it!
Moco museum is fantastic, the ambiance is super nice and the art is accessible and interesting for all ages, their exhibition of different artists is unique. I love to come here and also in Moco Barcelona.🩷
Nice exhibition. Robbie Williams was inspiring and funny on a serious topic of mental health. I like the breadth of exhibits.
Glad to see Robbie Williams expo still there! Also great work of Haring, Warhol, Banksy and many others. Lovely vibe in the museum as its set in an old house/villa, so lot of different little corners to turn to and different rooms to explore. Also on every floor bathrooms, didnt use them, but there are enough of them. Great outdoors to check out some more art and chill in the yard. Great location overall at Museumplein.
Absolutely loved this. Mainly because of the Robbie Williams exhibit. Really insightful. And great Banksy art on display too as well as other artists.
Nice building, precious pieces of art, inspirational moments, If you are in Amsterdam take 1 hour to visit MOCO, you will save lovely memories
Great museum, very interesting! They were also accommodating for my disabled partner as well; they have little seats you can carry around with you for when you need to take a break. While they can’t be fully accessible (explained on their website), they’ve done what they can to help which is always appreciated. We weren’t rushed at any point, and didn’t realise Robbie Williams would have art work in there! Would recommend!
Nice museum, mainly came for the Robbie Williams exhibition. Nice exhibition, friendly staff. Tip: You are a museum in the Netherlands, an audio tour in Dutch (spoken language) would be very nice and actually normal.
A very interesting museum that is worth its hype. I am not a big fan of modern art but I found myself captivated. The separation between the different artist by one artist a room is very interesting. As well as the location itself is very beautiful! I would totally recommend it
Beautiful museum but without facilitations for people with disability, no lift to go up and with crutches it was a bit difficult. The museum it deserves to be visited. Cheers.
We visited this museum as it was included on our iAmsterdam cards. The exhibits that we saw were very interesting however we did have to leave part way though our visit due to a medical emergency. The staff in the gift shop were very helpful in directing us to the nearest local hospital so we are very grateful for that. We will definitely be back to see the rest of the museum when we are next in Amsterdam!
I loved this museum …it was bright modern and thought provoking…buy your ticket before as it’s cheaper …it’s not a large museum but interesting Amsterdam is a very interesting city but be aware that the City Tax is the most expensive in Europe …we paid €138 for a four night stay which we thought was excessive
This is one of the best exhibitions I’ve been to. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is a lovely setting and at the end we got to sit in the garden and enjoy the external exhibits. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Worth visiting this Museum. It changes from classical experience. Even little children will enjoy it. Very colourful and rich in sensations.
What a great museum, with Warhol Banksy, etc. With now an exhibition by Robbie Williams, great! So striking how he expresses his life in art. Recommended! Moreover, a beautiful building!
We loved the whole exhibition. Had no preconceived ideas at all so it was a total delight. Particularly liked the Banksy's and Keith Harries
What a cool collection! Everything is displayed nicely and it’s fun to discover new art. The entire vibe is playful and engaging. A few small criticisms: the museum should limit the number of people allowed in at once because it was way too crowded and sometimes hard to see the art (especially around crowds of people taking endless selfies). Visitors should also be aware that there are steep staircases and small rooms but no elevator or coat check. It can be a tight fit! But if you like pop art and playful modernism, this museum is a fun way to spend an hour or so.
A very enjoyable visit if a little over crowded Robbie Williams exhibition was great Also enjoyed Banksy and some of contemporary displays
Loved the amazing art! It's a beautiful collection of different modern artist. Humorous and serious, displayed in an amazing building
Our visit was great and we really enjoyed to free audio tour that taught about the artist and provoked your own thoughts. The work about mental health was the perfect start to the experience. We absolutely LOVED the colors of the digital art displays and had lots of fun with pictures in there!
An amazing museum, with great contemporary art. The free mobile audio guide was also wonderful. I came early in the morning - and there was no line and not too much of a croud insinde. Worth every euro and time well spent.
This was our alternative to the Van gough museum, it was quite quick to get into and reasonably priced. There is a robbie williams exhibit about mental health banksy and some other artists its definitely any experience the rooms at the end where great definitely worth a visit
We were surprised at how small this museum was, and then when you consider that the bottom floor is currently a Robbie Williams exhibit that is really not very good, you realize this museum is pretty overpriced. There just aren’t a whole lot of actually good pieces of art to see here, and we even paid more for the tickets than we did for the Rijksmuseum. With that said, if you have nothing to do, or are particularly interested in seeing a few Banksy or Keith Haring pieces of art, it is worth it, but I probably would skip it if I had to do it again.
Experience was good, feel like it’s a little pricey for what it was. The art was interesting and the immersive experience was my personal favourite, but very short!
Immersive, festive, close, personal and positive, modern and contemporary. Like a rainbow shower with a dash of reality and deepness.
Great collection!! I wanted to see more and I was pleasantly surprised by Robbie Williams exhibit. Wish there was more exhibits of other past artists during Warhol era.
Interesting museum of modern art. Small, but good collection. 3 floors. Go there after 19:00, you’ll get the most experience when you alone in the museum.
The exposition is very modern, immersive, and original. The works and artists on display are very eclectic. Many modern artists, who the young public will know, are exhibited
Very cool collection! I really enjoyed the museum, staff was nice and welcoming. I highly recommend to visit the museum!
It is mandatory to ask people to be quite then the visitors can focus and enjoy watching the arts and galleries.
This is an excellent modern art museum with a varied collection. It’s housed in a an older building, which creates a fun and interesting contrast to the modern art (the building was unexpected, as in our experience most modern art museums are modern buildings, themselves). Would highly recommend. It’s a smaller museum, so don’t expect to be spending multiple hours here. But even so, it exceeded our expectations and made for an enjoyable visit.
Loved this museum and it’s interesting exhibits. Enough variety for the entire family! Went first thing in the am and enjoyed that it wasn’t very full.
Amazig selection of pieces and organized exposition I highly recommended not to go too high if you want to enjoy the experience! Thanx
A fantastic museum, well worth a visit. Full of contemporary artwork, beautifully collated and displayed. The building itself is lovely and leads you through the different works of art seamlessly. I haven’t been anywhere like it, it was all very intimate in its display. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
I really enjoyed this museum. It was easier to reserve a ticket here, compared to other museums in Amsterdam, but that’s not the only reason to visit it. When I was there, I saw a wonderful Banksy exhibit, and many other great artworks. I also appreciated the digital art exhibit as well as the outdoor sculptures. Highly recommended!
We visited this museum and loved it. We really enjoyed looking at all the pieces of art. It's 1 euro to leave your bag or coat before entering or you can wear them but bags must be worn on the front
The visit of the museum was really intense. Banksy, Hirst, Kusama…contemporary art as long as the eye can see. Awesome collection. Crowdy!
A fabulous little spot. Highly recommend as part of Amsterdam’s many museum offerings. Banksy exhibit a bonus for us!!
It's a small museum but totally worth it A bit of all the main mainstream artists. Different, funny. I'll definitely visit the Barcelona MOCO asap
Nice modern art museum, very colorful and interesting. Some exhibits are better than the others but overall worth the time.
Awesome museum! I had a great time going there. Honestly worth the visit especially on a rainy day. Perfect day for that!
Art is in the eye of the beholder, from the reviews I get it that some may not like it, but we’ve visited a lot of galleries- seen the headline acts and this wee museum did not disappoint. Yes some exhibits I don’t understand, NFT’s, but others I can certainly appreciate, I try to keep an open mind on art and try - as Public Enemy say “Don’t Believe The Hype”. I can appreciate the artist’s message, their thought and the presentation within this gallery. There were some highlights, I was pleased to see, and found the descriptions provided by the gallery entirely adequate. My “Higher Art” (one for the Scots readers’) teachers would be proud, I’m sure. If you’re looking for still life paintings, or fine portraiture this ain’t for you, but there were plenty happy faces around, plenty people taking their time to take in the art to say good on you Moco… AND, oh and there’s a huge rocking horse to climb up on and get a photo taken!
Interesting quirky gallery with audio download onto your phone should you want to know more about the exhibits. Something there for everyone. Definitely worth visit. Allow about 1-hour.
Fabulous experience today at the Moco Museum - the pieces and the building itself were amazing. Totally worth it visiting while in Amsterdam.
So interesting!! A cosy and thoughtful museum. Gives a new option of reality. I recommend it, for everyone visiting Amsterdam.
